The final headliner for MGCDF 2016 hails from the cold north and to our great joy it is the Norwegian avant-garde black metal icon DHG, DØDHEIMSGARD! What originated in 1994 as raw black metal act that gained recognition already with its debut album “Kronet til Konge”, gradually crystallized into a monument of dark psychedelics that keeps pushing the genre boundaries further and further, as evident from the 2015 fifth studio album “A Umbra Omega” which is thus far the most complex creation in DHG history. So if you want to experience a different take on black metal, you simply must accept this invitation to the realm of the dead!
