This is a treat for all grinders, for MetalGate Czech Death Fest 2016 shall be spearheaded by the British founding fathers of this extreme genre and the global metal icon NAPALM DEATH! This ferocious squad founded in the 1980s gained recognition already with their first albums “Scum” and “From Enslavement To Obliteration” and has since then been squarely entrenched on the grindcore Olympus. That this bands ages like vine so to speak, is attested by the this year’s 15th studio album “Apex Predator – Easy Meat” which combines the classic sonic devastation with new textures such as sludge, post-industrial and even electronic, whereby evolving the style of Napalm Death further still. Present of course is the traditional humanistic framework which is an integral part of the band’s music since the beginning. Simply put, an extreme response to extreme times. All things considered, this is a must-see, pure and simple. So on MGCDF 2016, everyone report to the pit!
