In the recent months, PAČESS has been getting praise left and right with regards to their latest full-length “Poupě”, and rightfully so. An excellent epic black metal that gets under your skin, and though it now and then respectfully pays tribute to Bathory, it follows its own direction that pays no heed to current trends and whims. Simply put, an honest old school of seasoned musicians, including for example the bassist Paramba (Solfernus) or the guitarist Jakub Fritsche (Forgotten Silence). Behind the mic is then no other than Ing. Tomáš František Hanzl, aka Chymus, the frontman of the legendary Isacaarum.
